Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 when she joined the band Dragons Playground. She quit the band shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox went on to release her first solo album Diva. It came out in 1992. It became a huge hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I'm Letting You go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. After minor recognition as part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. In 1992, Lennox started her own solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has versions of some of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI Always Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
