Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. Her father worked as a school teacher while her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick has always loved performing, dancing and creating puppet shows. Her rise to fame as a fairytale began when she took home the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 which led to being contacted by the talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she would like to be in show business. McCormick was hired to star in her first major performance in 1964 on the tv spot for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in Wind It up and It's Broken at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1,200 youngsters to be the youngest of three twin daughters in the TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show ran for five years. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams. In 2008, she revealed in her book Heres the Truth: surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that during the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. The incident could have occurred, she said but the timing was never right for us.
