Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as an elementary school teacher, and her mother as mother at home. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick began singing and dancing from a young age, and frequently performed plays with puppets for the kids in her community. When she was just six years old, older, she was crowned an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called to ask her if she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick got her first big task in 1964 as she acted in a TV commercial featuring Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. A year later, she starred for the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately chosen to play her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the oldest daughter in the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a blended family. The series lasted 5 years. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice released in 2008, McCormick admitted that in the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity due to her onscreen brother and co-star Barry Williams. She was 16 years old when the incident occurred; he was 19. This would have occurred, she says. The timing for our relationship wasn't right.
