Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th 1956 at Woodland Hills California. Her father taught in the school system and her mom was a stay-at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick started dancing and singing at an early age and would often perform plays with puppets for the children from her neighborhood. Her fairytale rise to fame started when she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of six, which prompted an inquiry from talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who inquired whether she wanted to work in show business. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in 1964. McCormick was in an advertisement for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. The following year she starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for The Wind It Up and It's Breaks by The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the eldest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick said in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost losing her virginity in the fifth season of the show to Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother. The actress was sixteen years old, and the actor aged 19 at that at the time. This would have occurred as she describes. But, the time of our romance was not the right one.
